Retinopathy Associated Revascularization

 [Up to Gallery]

An illustration of the process by which damaged retinal tissue may be revascularized after ischemic retinopathy.

Circulating Angiogenic Cells (CACs) mediate the angiogenic response while Outgrowth Endothelial Cells (OECs) re-form the vascular endothelium.

This figure is one of several illustrating the client's research into culturing and sorting CACs, OECs, and other angiogenic cells for injection into the eye to repair damaged retinas.
