Solanum lycocarpum, or Lobeira ("Wolf's Plant") is a member of the Solanaceae family, which includes tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplants.
Lobeira grows as a small tree in the central brazilian cerrado (savannah) and is used as a folk remedy to treat diabetes.
